A holiday with your dog here in the Black Forest is a real highlight – and here, dogs aren’t just allowed, they’re warmly welcome.
We have two dogs of our own and know how important it is that man’s most loyal companions feel at home and can enjoy their stay just as much as their owners.
The forest begins right behind the site, ideal for a leisurely stroll or a long hike to explore the region. For active guests, hiking in the Black Forest offers countless possibilities, from easy trails to challenging routes.
Dogs are welcome on all our pitches and are also allowed inside the log cabin.
General Info
We have deliberately chosen not to have separate areas for dog owners or families – it’s the mix that makes the difference. It is only through diversity and consideration that our site remains lively, colourful and a relaxing place for everyone.
Rules on the site and in the log cabin
To ensure that everyone – whether dog, child or adult – feels comfortable, we have clear rules in place: dogs must be kept on a lead in public areas of the campsite, and please only take them for walks in the adjacent woodland. You are welcome to erect a dog fence.
In our holiday rentals, dogs are not permitted on sofas or beds. This helps to keep everything hygienic and pleasant for all guests.
We do not have any breed restrictions or maximum numbers for dogs per pitch. It has to suit everyone, and we take this into account when you make your booking.
Travelling by bus and train – day trips made easy
There are numerous walking and cycling routes around Natur-Camping Langenwald that can be perfectly combined with local public transport. Dogs are also welcome on buses and trains. Please note that a muzzle may be required on public transport.
Facilities for dogs
You and your four-legged friend can set off on a hike straight from the campsite.
After a hike or an adventure in the woods, your dog is welcome to take a refreshing dip in the stream on site. There’s also a dog shower available – perfect after those muddy paw moments.
