The Natur‑Camping Langenwald has been run by the Eiermann family since 1974 – now in its third generation. Our campsite was established on the historic grounds of the Schleh sawmill, a place long connected to nature and traditional craftsmanship. What began as a small family business has grown into a lovingly developed campsite that combines tradition, closeness to nature, and modern hospitality.

Good to know

Here, you can enjoy the great outdoors. We have little or no mobile phone reception on the site itself. You’ll only get reception again as you head towards Freudenstadt. You can make calls via Wi-Fi calling. You’ll need to set this up in your mobile phone’s settings.

Free Wi-Fi network: Camping Langenwald; password: camping1 We aim to provide you with good internet access. However, depending on your pitch and how busy we are, this isn’t always possible.

We have fresh bread rolls every day. In the off-season, these are available to order; in the peak season, they’re available without ordering.

The Langenwald Stub’n serves hot meals daily from 6 pm to 8 pm. Depending on the season, coffee and cake are available from midday.

We can chill your ice packs in the freezer. We do not hire out fridges.

Verfügbar: April–Juni & September–Oktober (ausgenommen lange Wochenenden)

  • The campsite is really good : a nice nature spot ! The facilities are great, sanitaries are super clean, the pool is nice. The reception was very nice, the staff very nice. The only big problem is the noise. The road goes along the campsite and if you are not prepared it can be a shock. A lot of trucks and cars, motorcycles... In tent, we slept very badly. I think that if you are in camping car, it is perfect! Or in a tent, but only if you have a really heavy sleep and if noise isn't a problem for you

Absolutely recommended! 🙂 I stayed there for 2 nights (in my own tent). The staff is great. Doesn't matter if you speak German or not, English works just as well. The facilities are very clean (bathrooms, showers, laundry room if you're planning a long stay, and an area where you can clean your dishes). There's even a bread service which you can register for and get fresh bread every morning! There's a bus stop just in front of the campsite - ideal if you don't have a car (which was my case, for instance). You also get a visitor's card which allows you to use public transport for free. The location is of course another plus. Several beautiful spots can be reached by foot from the campsite. There's water faucets and electrical sockets almost at every spot. One issue we faced was that our phone charger plugs couldn't charge our phones (I think because the sockets were made for campers/ trailers). But it went fine as we had portable chargers with us. Overall, I really liked this campsite. I'll definitely be staying here again 😀

  • I stayed here whilst travelling on a motorbike tour of Europe. They helped me and my friend out last minute with a pitch, and the staff are really friendly and helpful. As you would expect with anything German, it was really efficient. The campsite itself is absolutely spotless and well maintained. The facilities are gleaming and new. It wasn’t noisey at all and the setting was perfect. I’m not the world’s biggest fan of camping but would absolutely stay here again. They have a restaurant on site with a few German dishes and some great German bottled beer. Everyone who was staying at the site looked happy and relaxed which I think says it all!

Very friendly and helpful staff. Very clean and we'll maintained facilities. Some of the showers and toilets make you feel like you're in a hotel! The surrounding area is gorgeous with many bike and walking trails; there are several grens walks, which take you deep into the forest and have old greens posts that date back to the 17th and 18th century. It's only a 20 minute bike ride, or 1 hour walk to Freudenstadt. Some of the camping places are bit busier than the rest, so try and get a quieter place if possible.

  • We stayed for a couple of nights en-route from Italy back to the UK. What an amazing site. The staff were really helpful, polite and very welcoming. The facilities were incredible, the toilet and shower blocks were immaculately clean. The location is stunning and ideal for hiking and mountain biking. We are so pleased we found this site and when in the area again will definitely return. Thank you

Amazing camp site with lovely staff, who speak several languages (German, Dutch, English). We stayed there for little less than a week during our cross-Germany roadtrip. Beautiful hikes and sightseeing close by and great facilities. It is, however, a real family-focused camping. So if you're looking for something with a little less noise (young families, kids) this might not be for you during the summer months. That being said, it was one of the more luxurious campings we've ever been, for a reasonable price.
